Wet Plate: a tintype portrait AI photoshoot
Wet Plate is a tintype portrait set that runs a 19th-century collodion process over a hyper-contemporary techwear look. Five frames and a detail carry silvery warm-gray tones, poured edges, chemical streaks and a heavy, steady gaze.

About the tintype look
Soft but directional light falls from a big north-facing skylight at the upper left. A brass Petzval lens at f/3.6 keeps a narrow zone sharp on the eyes and swirls everything toward the edges. The sitter holds still for a six-second exposure on a collodion plate. Its blue-sensitive emulsion darkens skin slightly and strengthens freckles while features stay exact.
Clothes, place and when to pick it
Styling is pure techwear: a black waterproof shell with taped seams and many straps, a buckled tactical vest, a nylon balaclava pulled down at the neck, wraparound sport sunglasses on the forehead and cargo pants. A studio chair and a painted canvas backdrop complete the period setting. It suits an author photo or a heritage-meets-tech brand page, with your face in period tones.
