About the infrared film look
Color infrared slide film reads foliage by its infrared glow, so banana leaves, ferns and tall grass come out pink, magenta and scarlet. A yellow filter on a 35 mm lens cuts blue haze and deepens the sky. Direct sun gives crisp shadows and makes the vegetation glow. Skin goes pale and milky with a warm undertone while every feature stays exact.
Clothes, place and when to pick it
Everything worn is green on purpose: a moss quilted jacket over a lime hoodie and a bottle-green shirt, wide green cargo pants, green rubber boots and green-tinted round sunglasses. On film that whole stack reads red against the pink jungle. Choose it for an album cover, a travel-themed grid or a portfolio piece with your face framed by magenta leaves.
