Privacy

haloshot is an AI photoshoot app at haloshot.app. This page explains what we collect, why, where it is kept and how to delete it. Questions: hello@haloshot.app.

What we collect

Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. We use them to keep you signed in and to show your account.

Your three photos and an optional note. The photos you upload (face, half turn, full length) and anything you type in “Anything we should keep?”.

The images made for you. Preview sheets and HD photos, plus the preview frames you pick for HD.

Usage records. Which shoots you started, when, and how many free credits are left.

Waitlist email. If you join the early access list on the website, your email, the date and the country of the request.

Technical data. Cloudflare, which runs this site, processes standard data such as your IP address to deliver pages. We use one sign-in cookie and no advertising or tracking cookies.

How your photos are used

Only to make your shoots. To render an image, your photos and the shoot’s written art direction are sent to the OpenAI Images API. OpenAI states that it does not use API data to train its models and may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor abuse. haloshot does not train any model on your photos, does not sell them and does not use them for advertising.

Where it is stored

Account data, photos and generated images are stored with Cloudflare (R2 storage and Durable Objects). Access to your images requires your signed-in session.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. In the app, open Account → “Delete my photos and account” to delete your photos, every preview and HD photo, and your account right away. Waitlist emails are kept until launch messages are sent or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it is used, by writing to hello@haloshot.app. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

Age

haloshot is for people aged 18 and over. Do not upload photos of anyone else, including children.
