Slit-Scan: a slit scan photography AI photoshoot
Time stands in for space in Slit-Scan: the picture builds from narrow slices recorded one after another, so anything that moves bends like liquid. Five frames and a detail of this slit scan photography set stretch head, arms and stripes into ribbons while the eyes stay exact.

About the slit-scan look
A slit-scan camera records one vertical line at a time, a single pixel wide, building the image from left to right over two seconds. Even, bright studio light falls on a flat pale lilac backdrop that stays undistorted because it never moves. Turning heads, raised arms and stepping legs smear into waves and fans. Whatever pauses, especially the eyes and nose, stays normal.
Clothes, place and when to pick it
Graphic stripes reveal the distortion: an oversized black-and-white striped shirt, black pants, chunky silver chains and white-framed sunglasses pushed up on the head. Your face stays mostly intact while the jaw or one cheek curves away. Use it for an album cover, a creative-tech portfolio or a poster with a strange, liquid edge.
