About the rain on glass look
An 85 mm lens wide open at f/1.8 focuses in the gap between the glass and the subject. Drops nearest the lens swell into large red discs, almost like bokeh, and the ones running down leave short streaks. Behind, a red spotlight rims the outline. Everything else falls to darkness, which keeps the scene quiet and close.
