About the swirl bokeh look
A vintage 58 mm f/2 lens is shot wide open, sharp on the eyes and softer toward the corners, with backgrounds that spin into a swirl. Late-afternoon window light arrives from behind and to the side, rimming hair and shoulders while dust glows in the beam. Color negative film at ISO 400 adds lifted blacks, green-leaning shadows and halation around the window frame.
Clothes, place and when to pick it
Worn-in textures carry the styling: a brown leather car coat, a cream mohair knit over a faded tee, loose brown pants and silver signet rings. A sofa, a windowsill and a warm cup set the scene. It suits a dating profile, a writer's bio or any page that needs your face seen up close and unguarded.
