Anti-Portrait: an extreme low angle AI photoshoot

Top-down shot of a woman with long blond hair lying on sunlit concrete in white sunglasses and pale gray parachute trousers

Five frames shot from the ground up, where an oversized shoe fills the foreground and the full figure rises toward a pale sky. The scale feels wrong on purpose, while the face stays accurate and readable at the top.

Five frames from this shoot

Five separate frames, made by haloshot from three phone photos of one person.

About the ultra-wide from the ground look

The camera sits about 15 cm above the concrete with a 16 mm lens, close enough that a boot sole one step away looks as big as a building. Walls and trouser seams rush toward the top edge. For the opening portrait a 24 mm at normal distance keeps the face undistorted. Hard daylight throws crisp shadows, and color stays flat and unfiltered, like a plain digital file.

Clothes, place and when to pick it

Cut for women and men alike, the outfit is avant-garde streetwear: exaggerated architectural trousers, a sculptural layered jacket, massive designer footwear and minimal geometric accessories. Plain concrete architecture under a clear sky is the whole set. Pick it for a sneaker or streetwear campaign, a bold Instagram post or a cover where your face looks down from the top.

How it works

Add three photos of yourself: face, half turn and full length. haloshot renders a free five-frame preview of Anti-Portrait with your face. Pick the frames you like and keep them in 4:5 HD.

How to shoot extreme low angle fashion with a 16 mm

Distortion does the work. With an ultra-wide lens a few centimeters off the ground, anything near the camera grows huge while the far end of the body shrinks toward the sky.

  1. Choose plain concrete architecture with clean walls and open sky, and shoot in hard midday sun.
  2. Rest the 16 mm on a beanbag about 15 cm above the ground at f/11, focused near 1 m.
  3. Frame with a flip screen or tethered phone, and place the front shoe roughly 30 cm from the lens.
  4. Shoot the face portrait separately on a 24 mm from normal distance so features stay undistorted.

Rehearse the step-over with a dummy box first so no sole lands on the lens.
