Shibuya Motion: a Shibuya crossing AI photoshoot

You get five frames on a busy Japanese pedestrian crossing in late-afternoon daylight, the camera swinging with a figure in long dark tailoring. Pedestrians and buildings stretch into horizontal streaks while head and shoulders stay readable.

About the panning motion blur look
Panning does the work. A 35 mm lens at about 1/20 s follows the walker at the same speed, so the subject lands nearly still on the sensor while everything else smears sideways. Legs and coat hems blur a little more because they move against the swing, and one frame drops to 1/15 s for a stronger rush. Plain daylight with a few hard reflections keeps color muted: concrete gray, faded blue.
Clothes, place and when to pick it
Women and men get the same radical Japanese oversized shape: a long asymmetric tailored jacket over layered wide-leg trousers, architectural shoes and minimal geometric accessories. It is shot on a big zebra crossing and at its curb. Use it for a street-style post, a fashion portfolio or a travel story with your face clear among the blur.

How to pan with a model walking through a crowd
Panning means swinging the camera at walking speed through a slow exposure. The walker stays nearly sharp while the crowd and buildings behind smear into horizontal streaks.
- Work a busy crossing such as Shibuya in late afternoon; larger commercial crews need a road-use permit from police.
- Set the 35 mm to about 1/20 s at ISO 100, adding an ND filter if f/16 still overexposes.
- Stand 3 to 4 m from the walking line, pick the model up early and keep swinging after the click.
- Shoot bursts on every green light; expect one frame in ten with a readable face.
Cross only on the green signal and clear the road before it changes, model included.
