Split Twin: a split prism AI photoshoot

A half prism over the lens places a second version of you next to the first, with a soft vertical seam between them. One twin glows red, the other blue, and where they overlap the shadows go purple.

Six frames from this shoot

Five frames and one detail, made by haloshot from three phone photos of one person.

About the split prism look

Two hard gelled lights face each other: red from the left, blue from the right. The background stays dark, so each side of the frame reads as one pure color. Covering half of a 50 mm lens, the prism shifts its side of the image sideways, which lets the twins face each other, stand back to back or walk one step apart. Their join blurs softly instead of cutting.

Clothes, place and when to pick it

Tailoring is worn inside out, so the lining, shoulder pads and seam allowances show. An enormous soft black leather tote and sharply pointed boots finish it. haloshot renders your face on both twins. Choose it for a single cover, a concept post about duality or a portfolio piece.

How it works

Add three photos of yourself: face, half turn and full length. haloshot renders a free five-frame preview of Split Twin with your face. Pick the frames you like and keep them in 4:5 HD.
