Flatbed: a scanner photography AI photoshoot
Flatbed swaps the camera for a scanner: the face pressed flat against the glass, rings and chains laid beside it, everything a few centimeters back falling into pure black. These scanner photography portraits carry extreme skin detail and stretched streaks where the head moved.

About the scanography look
The scanner lamp moves under the glass in one pass at 1200 dpi, giving even, cold-white light that is flat where skin touches and dark around the contours. Focus depth is about two centimeters, so cheeks, palms and metal are crisp while the rest drops away. Any movement during the pass drags features into straight streaks along the scan direction.
Clothes, place and when to pick it
On the glass sit silver rings, silver chains, sunglasses with neon-orange lenses and one crushed red flower. Wardrobe is a black ribbed turtleneck pulled up to the chin. Even where one side stretches, your face stays readable. It fits an experimental portfolio, an album or zine cover, or an art school application.
